Our privacy posture is simple to state: the product runs on your computer, so your business data never reaches us. This policy covers the one place we do handle personal information (this website) and states plainly what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
What We Collect
When you use our website, we collect only the information you provide directly:
- Call requests / contact form: your name, email address, and message
- Nothing else: no advertising trackers, no purchased data
We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties.
Where Your Business Data Lives
Chief Staffer is software installed on your own Mac. The record it builds of your business (your conversations, documents, facts, and the documents it produces) is stored on your machine and nowhere else. We do not host it, transmit it, back it up, or have any technical means of accessing it. During a setup engagement we work on your machine with you present; we do not take copies of your data.
Chief Staffer works inside your AI applications under your own account with your AI provider. What you send to your AI provider is governed by your agreement with them; Chief Staffer does not add its own data collection.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, and general location. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies for authentication (when accessing account pages) and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Data Retention
Contact and call-request submissions are retained until you request deletion. Your Chief Staffer business data is on your own machine and is never in our possession to retain or delete.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
